Needs Assessment Analysis

The Needs Assessment Analysis Report identified and assessed the end-users needs of the Virtus target groups in order to develop the modular courses in Tourism and Social entrepreneurship, which have been implemented through the Virtus virtual VET center. The report presents both the data analysis of the Needs Analysis Questionnaires and the Design Meetings, it was presented to policy-makers and other stakeholders through targeted dissemination activities in order to inform them about the state of the art of Tourism and Social entrepreneurship sectors in the countries involved (Greece, Austria, Spain, Italy) to improve quality and raise excellence in vocational education and training.

VIRTUS Virtual VET Center and Virtual Community

This initial specification of the VIRTUS Virtual VET Centre (V3C) platform presents a comprehensive collection of requirements and a first design for the V3C platform. Requirements base on end-user needs assessment, state-of-the-art of virtual organizations in VET, and European certification practice. For a first design, the specification identifies most important agent roles and use cases and introduces V3C as an integration of light-weight learning management systems (LMS) and personal learning environments (PLE).

VIRTUS Modular Course in Tourism and Hospitality Services

This course consists of five training modules that shall help workers of “Tourism and Hospitality Services” sector to improve their competences. This modular course is designed for asynchronous self-guided learning on the Virtual Virtus Center. It is available in the following languages: English, German, Greek, Italian, and Spanish.

VIRTUS Modular Course in Social Entrepreneurship

This course consists of five training modules that shall help (future) social entrepreneurs learn about social enterprises and case studies, particularities of this type of business. This modular course is designed for asynchronous self-guided learning on the Virtual Virtus Center. It is available in the following languages: English, German, Greek, Italian, and Spanish.

VIRTUS Policy Recommendations

Policy Recommendations are based upon the project outcomes. They target mainly policy-makers, VET providers and professionals and researchers. The report use the feedback acquired in the policy-round table to be organized during the project. This deliverable is based on the three policy brief.
